A 23-year-old Nissan 350Z has been radically transformed into a vehicle that looks ripped straight out of a dystopian sci-fi film. California-based builder Moises Mendoza (known as Zleyuz on Instagram) has spent years refining this sports car, culminating in a design that blends the aesthetics of Cyberpunk 2077 and Blade Runner 2049.
From Stock to Spectacle
The project began with a simple premise: take a reliable, readily available chassis and push it to its absolute limits. The 350Z’s proportions and drivetrain made it an ideal candidate for extreme customization. Mendoza’s build isn’t just about adding parts; it’s about fundamentally altering the car’s identity.
The Face of the Future
The most striking change is the front end. Mendoza grafted headlights from a Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86 onto the 350Z, then customized them with LED graphics to mimic the aggressive look of a Lexus. The front bumper is a hybrid of the 350Z and BRZ designs, capped off with a vented hood. The result is a face that’s both familiar and utterly alien.
Bodywork From Another World
The modifications don’t stop there. The car features a widebody kit imported from Japan, further accentuated by custom vents and fins jutting from the bodywork. While the doors, roof, and greenhouse remain stock, the rear end has been completely overhauled.
A Porsche Tail on a Nissan Chassis
The most eye-catching addition is a full-width LED light bar sourced from a Porsche 911. Combined with a large rear wing, a squared-off diffuser with dual exhaust outlets, and a custom rear deck that simulates a split rear window, the Z now resembles a futuristic supercar.
Low and Wide
The car sits on air suspension, allowing for adjustable ride height and aggressive stance. Ultra-wide aftermarket wheels wrapped in stretched, low-profile tires complete the look.
Power Upgrades
Under the hood, the original Nissan 3.5-liter V6 is currently paired with a nitrous system. However, Mendoza has plans to swap it out for a GM-sourced 6.2-liter V8, promising even more power and a truly unique driving experience.
