Mercedes-Benz is preparing to expand its all-electric GLC EQ range beyond the standard two-row model, with recent spy shots confirming the development of a new three-row version. The move suggests the automaker anticipates strong demand for larger, family-oriented EVs.
Design and Exterior Changes
The upcoming seven-seat crossover shares design cues with the existing GLC EQ, yet features key modifications for extended passenger capacity. Obvious changes include a flatter roofline, revised rear doors, and a noticeably stretched rear end. The rear window is more upright, and larger third-quarter glass panels are visible under camouflage.
The vehicle retains signature Mercedes-Benz elements such as the star-patterned headlights and plastic body cladding. The front grille and rear light bar with circular accents remain familiar design features.
Interior Tech and Expected Features
While interior shots remain unavailable, the three-row GLC EQ is likely to carry over the existing model’s advanced tech features. This includes a standard 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14-inch infotainment system.
